The left should learn from Phyllis Schlafly
Phyllis Schlafly was a powerful, conservative organizer. The left should study Phyllis's accomplishments and steal a page or two from her playbook.
I recently finished watching Mrs. America on Hulu. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to turn back the authoritarian regime now in full control of our country.
Mrs. America is the story of Phyllis Schlafly, who rose to become a powerhouse organizer. Starting with just a small list and working from home, she became a tour de force while working to block the ERA. Credit Phyllis with marshaling evangelicals to become politically active, circa 1980. Phyllis turned evangelicals, then religious conservatives into highly reliable voters. Trump isn't President today without the work Phyllis did.
Phyllis's last book published the day after her death in 2016 was, The Conservative Case for Trump.
