"Complaining is not a strategy"
I love this image. But it doesn't address the problems of the working class, nor does it motivate non-voters.

Yesterday's No Kings protest had a great turnout. It's been reported that it was the biggest single day protest in United States history. Cool. I'm glad to see people out in the streets.

However on balance, yesterday was about complaining. So was the last protest, and the one before that, the one before that one, etc.

The oligarch Jeff Bezos once said, “Complaining is not a strategy”. He’s right.

Here’s random photos of signs. The signs are all about complaining. They’re about what the sign holder is against, not what they’re for.

Imagine being a working class person or non-voter and scanning these signs, looking for hope or reasons to vote. Do they see people standing for issues important to them like housing, healthcare, wages, or education? No, they don’t. All they see is complaining. The same thing Democrats have been doing for years (that and losing elections). The working class person and non-voter sees the same old same old Democrats, bitching about Trump. The signs reinforce to them that all politicians suck and voting doesn’t matter.

I talked to at least 20 people today. Only 1 of them indicated they’re doing the hard work necessary to turn this around - mobilizing and organizing. None of them could articulate what Democrats stand for.

All but one, still believed in the old and tired DNC and the Democratic establishment. One woman asked me about my sign. She said I should fall in line with the establishment. When I explained that’s more of the same that’s failed over and over, she cussed me out, flipped me off and said, “F you, you bleepty bleep. You’re part of the problem”.

The Democratic establishment and their consultant class has led us into failure over failure. Since 2008 Democrats have lost 2000 state house seats. But yet the people I talked to today still think they’ll lead us out of this mess.

If I hired someone to write software and they got it wrong, I’ll give them another chance. If they got it wrong again, I’ll give them one last chance. After that, if it’s still wrong, they’re fired.

A big problem we’re facing is that Democratic voters won’t fire the establishment, their representatives, and their consultants. Most won’t do the hard work necessary to turn the tide. It’s why we keep losing elections and why Democrats couldn’t even win an election against the worst Presidential candidate our country has ever seen.

In 2008 The Tea Party rose to take control of the GOP with about 300k members.

The solution is for we the people to form a citizens group of about 15 million members and take control of the Democratic Party, much like The Tea Party did. Then, Democrats would have to work for us, instead of their donor class. If not, Democrats won’t win elections.

We the people must do an end around on the system. We can do this. We just have to have the will power.

We the people must demand that Democrats run on a platform that’s important to the working class.

I’ve put together said platform. It’s an updated version of FDR’s Economic Bill of Rights. I believe every important issue we’re facing today is covered with this platform.

Maybe you disagree? Cool. Post a comment about one issue that’s important to you and I’ll show which of these 10 solves your issue.
